Midnight Thought

"Being busy used to make me feel important. It made me feel like the world needed me, like somehow I was more valuable or valid when I was busy."

Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, Albert Einstein, and many more successful people. Why successful people achieve many things in a day but why most of us lament about not having enough time to even take 30 minutes off for having a coffee break with people you love or simply saying 'hi, how was you day?'
The next time you say you're busy, (in my point of view) it's an excuse. If you truly prioritize something, you will make time for it. Relationships, friendships, or something else — you always have time for anything if you make time. There is nothing called busy. Its all about prioritizing. If it is important, we will acknowledge it, fight hard for it and won't let things go that easily... Make sense? :)
However, to me, there comes a time when you have to stop crossing oceans for people who wouldn't even jump puddles for you. If for you, someone is priority and you are only an option, then they are not worth your time. Why on Earth should you go above and beyond if the other person doesn’t even do the same for you?
No need to force yourself to have space in people's life because if they know your worth, they'll create one for you. People make time for whom they want to make time for. People text, call, and reply to people they want to talk to. I personally never believe anyone who says they are too busy. If they want to be around you, they would. Simple as that.

Above the Sky

All photos taken using GoPro Hero 4

Skyline, Gumaya Tower -- Having a very good time here, to enjoy some tasty food and beauteous view of my town. I just treated myself as I had spare time after doing deadline, deadline, and deadline, as well as job-well-done ahaaa. Well sometimes I love to give reward for my self for working hard. Like, you've been working hard —coming in early, staying late— so why not reward yourself? :p Once in a while, we need to reward ourselves for the smaller things in order to remain focused on achieving the larger ones. Rewarding yourself motivates you to strive more and set up more goals for yourself to accomplish. I know that when I do good in something, I will go buy myself a smoothie or like this, a night out to dine above the sky (oh I mean a high-floor restaurant). It doesn’t have to spend extra money anyway, just a little something different to show that I am proud of myself and I do a good job. Working hard to achieve all your goals is great, but giving yourself some love and breathing room is just as important. So yes, it is ok to reward yourself along the way I guess. After all, a successful life, is not a destination. It is a journey to be enjoyed as much as possible. Yet, reminder: Big rewards for big goals. Have a good day folks!x

Everyone's wearing: Monochrome

“Women think of all colors except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.” ― Coco Chanel

Black and white never goes out of style. There's nothing more chic than these two combo as they are seriously such a perfect partnership. The simplicity of monochrome makes it a timeless classic. And stripes, are timeless option for seasonless style. I go bold with this look *finger-crossed*
